Defence Industry of Israel to reveal new military equipment at Paris Air Show 2011.
 
 
The state-run Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) on June 6, 2011, announced two weapon systems slated to make their first public appearance at the 49th Paris Air Show on June 20-26. The Israeli pavilion at La Bourget will also feature some of the latest weapon systems and gadgetry of the country's other leading defense manufacturers, including Elbit and RAFAEL.
     

The state-run Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) on Monday announced two weapon systems slated to make their first public appearance at the 49th Paris Air Show on June 20-26. The Israeli pavilion at La Bourget will also feature some of the latest weapon systems and gadgetry of the country's other leading defense manufacturers, including Elbit and RAFAEL.

At Paris Air Show 2011, the the Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI) will display:

The Arrow 3 Kill Vehicle:
The innovative ARROW 3 interceptor is designed to intercept and destroy the newest, longer-range threats, especially those carrying weapons of mass destruction. ARROW 3 integrates seamlessly into the ARROW WEAPON SYSTEM (AWS) complementing the current and future blocks of the ARROW 2 - thus enabling upper-tier multiple engagement opportunities.

Heron I - Multi-Role medium altitude long endurance UAV system:
The IAI Heron I is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by the Malat (UAV) division of Israel Aerospace Industries. It is capable of Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) operations of up to 52 hours' duration at up to 35,000 feet. It has demonstrated 52 hours of continuous flight, but the effective operational maximal flight duration is less, due to payload and flight profile.

HAROP - Loitering Munition System:
The HAROP is a loitering munitions missile with a high quality day / night electro-optic seeker. It searches, detects and attacks accurately high value static or mobile targets at long ranges. HAROP missiles are launched from transportable launchers and navigate towards the targets area.

IAI Harop is an unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) developed by the MBT division of Israel Aerospace Industries.
