Within the scope of these activities, part of the engineering machinery and equipment that meet modern requirements were delivered from Turkey to our Azerbaijan. The mine clearing robot and accessories made by Mematt will be transferred into the armament of Azerbaijan Army’s engineer-sapper units stationed in territories evacuated by Armenia to get involved in the clearance work of mines and unexploded ordnance of human settlements, including lands suitable for sowing.

With the cooperation of ASFAT and the private sector, Mechanical Mine Clearing Equipment (MEMATT), whose design, prototype production, mass production and certification stages were completed in only 14 months from the R&D stage, was produced and made ready for the service of the Turkish Armed Forces, also intended to be exported to Azerbaijan. In this context, a contract for the "Production and Delivery of 20 Mechanical Mine Clearing Equipment" was signed between ASFAT and Azerbaijan.

Another important point about the project is that the certification capability is fully realized with national resources. Within the project, the National Mine Action Center (MAFAM) gained the capability to certify the equipment and the equipment was certified by MAFAM. Our national organization, MAFAM, has become an organization with international certification capability thanks to the project.

In the statement made by ASFAT, “This project, which is realized with the cooperation of the private sector, which is the most important driving force of our economy, is the best way for the private sector to facilitate, grow, develop, increase its competitiveness and thus contribute to defense industry exports with business models developed by ASFAT. is a good example. " statements were included.
