The new nano UAS Hawkeye (Unmanned Aerial System) designed and manufactured by the French Company Aeraccess, unveiled at Milipol Paris 2017, the International State Homeland Security exhibition in France.

The small size of the HAWKEYE allows the end-user to wear the system on their body for easy access and rapid deployment in a couple of seconds for tactical information over the wall. Inaudible 150 feet (45m) AGL (Above Ground Level), it brings a stealth solution for intelligence covert missions.

Using a MESH secured network, the HAWKEYE is fully integrated with the existing equipment on the battlefield. The datalink and video transmission is encrypted 128-bit.

Single operator using GPS navigation autonomous flying, the HAWKEYE is operated with the minimum training and is very easy to operate and fly using a ruggedized tablet with intuitive user interface.

The Hawkeye is a quadrotor helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors, which can be folded to reduce the size make it easier the transport. It has a weight of less than 500 grams including the drone and the payload.

The Hawkeye is fitted with a dual low-light visible camera and thermal camera mounted at the front of the drone. It can fly during 25 minutes and can be operated at temperature from -10° to +50°. It can be used with a maximum range of 2 km and has a wind resistance of 10m/sec.

The Hawkeye drone can be used to protect the lives of the military people, with its camera it can provide live video remote communications to ground forces to take decision on current and future combat operations in real live time.

Another application, is the use of the Hawkeye UAS to assist in searches for lost or injured soldiers as well as a real-time view of various missions and situations allowing for commanders to make better decisions in resource allocations.
