Milex 2017: Minotaur Service exhibited its VITIM armored car
Belarus Minotor-Service company has developed the Vitim armoured car that can be used as a chassis for various systems. Vitim was demonstrated at the MILEX 2017 exhibition held from May 20-22 in Minsk.

Vitim is a 4x4 wheeled amphibious armoured car. Vitim is intended for reconnaissance, convoys escorting and securing, patrolling, fire support, assistance during operations being conducted by police, crew protection, and using as an assault armoured car and a multipurpose chassis for light firearms, missile systems, pieces of communications equipment, etc. The Vitim armoured car can be exploited at a temperature ranging from -50 C° to +50 C° and at 100% air humidity ( at +25 C°) temperature. Vitim can cross water obstacles at a speed of 5 km/h after a 10 min preparation. The car features a monocoque armoured hull that provides protection against 7.62 mm bullets fired from the Kalashnikov AKM assault rifle at a distance of 10 m, the explosion of F-1 or RGO hand grenade under the car`s belly and the explosion of a shell-less improvised explosive device (IED) that contains an equivalent of 0.5 kg of TNT.

The Vitim 4x4 AC has a crew of one servicemen, a passenger capacity of four troopers, a length of 5,300 mm, a width of 2,400 mm, a height of 2,200 mm, a wheel base of 3,200 mm, a ground clearance of 430 mm, a full weight of 7,000 kg, a kerb weight of 6,000 kg, a payload of 1,000 kg, a maximum road speed of 125 km/h, a swimming speed of 5 km/h, and a cruising range of 800 km. The vehicle is powered by a diesel turbocharged engine (215 h.p.) coupled to a mechanical transmission. Vitim can overcome and obstacle with a height of 0.4 m.
