At the booth of Zetor Engineering, visitors can see the latest development of tracked military vehicles called Wolfdog with scale models showing different types of configuration from IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) to fire support vehicle with 105 cannon turret.

Within the field of military industry, the company is currently focusing on the development of platforms for highly mobile tracked and wheeled off-road vehicles that comply with present and future requirements of armed forces. Zetor Engineering bases its designs on the experience with and analyses of present deployment of fighting vehicles in military operations, as well as predictions for future armed conflicts.

The Zetor Engineering company was founded in 2014 as a subsidiary of the Zetor Tractors company, a producer of heavy-duty agricultural machinery. The design company Zetor Engineering focuses exclusively on development of specific fighting vehicles—mobile platforms and carriers of special bodies suited for the actual military deployment. “The prerequisite for being successful in this field is a long-standing experience with heavy-duty off-road machinery,” says Isabela Vršková, CEO of the Zetor Engineering company.

“Contemporary armed conflicts show significant increase in the level of threat—both symmetrical and asymmetrical—directed towards the deployed vehicles. The safety of the currently used vehicles in these conflicts is insufficient, not to mention that the lifespan of these vehicles is nearing its end. These vehicles are not able to meet with strict requirements on the safety of the crew even with a considerable modernization,” add Vršková.
