FEINDEF 2019: Indra GMV showcases its C4I system for future infantrymen


The Spanish company Indra gmv showcases its system called “Sistema Combatiente a Pie” (system for fighter on foot) which is somehow competing with more or less equivalent foreign systems.

2019 should see the end of the trial period imposed to the system composed of many elements, like its equivalents developed for other armies. Let’s notice that the micro-drone chosen by the Spanish is the Black Hornet, in line with other C4I warfighter system designers.

Indra’s system is, at least partly, an equivalent to what the Russians develop with their Ratnik, or the French with their FELIN, and Rheinmetall with its Canadian Argus system and its even more advanced successor, the Argus New Generation. Let’s remind that Rheinmetall also makes the Future Soldier – Expanded System (IdZ-ES) used by the German Army, including the advanced Gladius 2.0 version for instance.
