CAT EYE is a portable active identification Full HD monocular with a permanent autofocus and location capabilites : GPS, DMC, and Rangefinder (optional).

With CAT EYE, LHERITIER offers a new day and night, ultra-low noise and uncooled camera in the VIS and NIR spectrum, dedicated for long-range Identification during long duration surveillance missions. Meanwhile, the OLED technology delivers a high-definition vision under all conditions by day and night through the monocular.

In passive mode, CAT EYE guarantees an excellent restitution of lon-range scenes in day-time, even down to low-light levels (night 3 level), but also during rainy or foggy wheather or highly polluted conditions.

In active mode, it uses the new generation of ultra-fast and stealth illuminator combined with an ultra-fast presence detector for the close field. This guarantees eye safety, dual mode of active imagery and discretion. The light power is automatically adjusted to optimize consumption. Illuminating a slice of volume at a selected distance in the gating mode allows to increase the contrast in the conditions of low visibility or light pollution in the observation field. In other situations, the continuous illumination will restore all the observed depth in very high quality.

CAT EYE combines high density of integration, small form factor, low weight, ergonomic and gives an excellent SWaP with a powdr autonomy of more than 6 hours.

The very high-quality image rendering in the VIS and NIR band with natural contrast, unlike classical thermal observation systems, makes CAT EYE an excellent system for identification and meets the needs of operational like infantry squads, Special Forces, Police units, border and coastal patrols and more.
