Eurosatory 2018: new CBRN body bag presented by Ouvry

At Eurosatory 2018, Ouvry presents a CBRN body bag that enables the confinement and evacuation of a contaminated body. It was designed to avoid crossed-contamination during the body extraction (vehicle, helicopter, ambulance, personnel, etc.) and provides a pre-decontamination of the body during transport.

The main material is flexible, CBRN-agent-proof and tear-resistant when heavily loaded (up to 150 kg). A transparent window in CBRN-agent-proof material allows body identification.

The technological differentiation of this product resides in the ultra-absorbent material placed inside the bag: embedded catalysts target chemical and biological contaminants and provide pre-decontamination of the body, absorbing and destroying up to 8 liters of contaminants and body fluids. The OUVRY CBRN Body bag is the only commercialized bag that can absorb 8L of liquids and destroy the absorbed chemical and biological contaminants.

The body bag was designed to be easy and quick to implement. It has space-saving packaging, light weight, internal adjustable straps to secure the body during transport, handles on each side for easy transport, included pocket on the front side to put identity or medical documents, hermetic-zip that allows complete opening of the bag. The bag is equipped with an overpressure valve and filtering canister to filter and evacuate the gas produced by the body during stocking.

The welds and seams are tough, liquid and vapor proofed to provide high mechanical resistance and complete CBRN confinement.
