Eurosatory 2016: Lacroix Defense Unveils its Lynx Realistic Training Solution
At Eurosatory 2016 defense exhibition currently held in Paris, French company Lacroix Defence unveiled its Lynx realistic training solution. Lacroix describes the Lynx as battlefield pyrotechnic effect simulators and ammunition for realistic combat training.

The Lynx simulator comes on two variants: Vehicle (box shape as seen above) or stand alone (round shape with just two ammunitions).

The Lynx ammunition simulates rifles and artillery fires as well as IEDs and mines with realistic sound pyrothecnics effects such as flashes and smokes.

Lacroix Defense conducted demonstration trials with the French Army in a training center. A company representative showed Army Recognition a video on Lynx: An infantryman fires an anti-tank weapon (simulated by a Lynx ammunitions) against a main battle tank (MBT). The hit on the MBT is simulated by red smoke. White smoke typically simulated a miss.

Lynx helps trainers to create a much more realistic training environment, similar to what soldiers are likely to find on real battlefields.
