Eurosatory 2016: FN Herstal presented a new tactical buttstock
FN Herstal launched a new buttstock for the Minimi 5.56 mm machine guns, during the Eurosatory 2016 exhibition. The modernized weapons were introduced to the market in 2013, offering improved ergonomics and mobility.

The buttstock was initially developed for the Special Forces. Its length can be adjusted to five positions and the cheek rest height to six. It has a convex shape. In overall, the tactical buttstock, which is already in service, allows for a better adjustment for shoulder firing. A position that is common in special forces operations.
