During four days Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia becomes the center of the world for defense industries.
The 15th Defence Services Asia (DSA) exhibition and conference is now on the top 5 of the most important defense exhibition in the world with more than 1,200 exhibitors and companies from 60 countries. The DSA organizers expect more than 34,000 trade visitors from 77 countries to visit Malaysia in conjunction with DSA 2016.

During four days, from the 18 to 21 April 2016, Kuala Lumpur becomes the center of the world for defence and security industry players to promote products, exchange ideas and technologies, forge partnerships and embark on strategic and synergistic collaborations.

A total of 29 A total of 29 country group pavillions will be participating in DSA 2016, with new additions debuting at this show being Belarus, Bosnia, Canada, the Netherlands, the Russian Federation, the UAE and Ukraine. The biggest foreign pavillion for this year is Turkey, with more than 25 companies participating.

Leading international defence and security companies from all over the world who will be at DSA 2016 include Airbus, BAE Systems, Bell Helicopter, Boeing, Finmeccanica, MBDA, Roxoboronexport, SAAB and Thales. DSA 2016 will also showcase local defence and services companies such as AVP Engineering, Boustead Naval Shipyard, Destini Berhad, DEFTECH (DRB Hicom Defence Technologies), Muhibbah Engineering, Rohde & Schwarz Malaysia, Sapura Defence, SME Ordnance, System Consultancy Services and Weststar Group.

Some of the highlights of DSA 2016 include the Chief of Army Roundtable Talks (ChART), the Cyber Security Forum, the Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosive Conference (CBRNe), the Humanitarian Assitance & Disaster Relief Conference (HADR),as.we!l as the Putrajaya Forum; which will focus on "Regional Cooperation in Addressing Security Challenges.

DSA 2016 is expected to generate billions of ringgit in investment opportunities through contracts and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). During the previous edition, the Ministry of Defence witnessed 25 agreements being signed, totaling RM 1.86 billion.
