Iron Eagle X awarded USD 430Mn contract for US Special Operations Command activities


The U.S. Department of Defense announced on August 31 that Iron Eagle X, Tampa, Florida, was awarded a contract with a maximum ceiling of $430,000,000 and a 10-year ordering period for a range of activities, including further research and development, products, services, and production for further technical development and applications derived from previous U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) tools and extending solutions to meet USSOCOM software solution requirements for challenges associated with a host of operational workflows and interoperability among data sets and applications in the furtherance of the program.

Fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance, and fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation funding in the amount of $3,877,823 are being obligated at the time of the award. This contract is an Other Transaction Agreement authorized under 10 U.S. Code §4022(f). USSOCOM, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.
