Tank gunners can control these platforms from distances of up to 1km. In collaboration with the Stavropol regional branch of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, four such modules have already been deployed to the Ukrainian battlefield, and an additional five installations are slated for delivery by year-end.

This year, experts at the Stavropol Signal plant, a subsidiary of KRET, developed a cutting-edge remote control platform for machine guns in response to a direct request from operatives in the SVO zone. The entire process, from receiving technical specifications to crafting the first prototype, was completed in just two months and actively involved future operators.

The platform is equipped with a high-resolution Full HD video camera boasting two-axis stabilization and a 30x zoom capability. Operators manage the module through a terminal comprising an LCD monitor and a joystick, with the option to configure the control terminal as a compact case.

Andrey Kocherga, CEO of Signal PJSC, explained: "The PKT control module enables real-time target monitoring and precise shooting at distances ranging from 50 to 1100 meters. Furthermore, it can be upgraded with thermal imaging and night vision modules. Notably, this platform has not only undergone rigorous testing in controlled environments but has also been put to the test in actual combat situations."

These remote control platforms for the PKT machine gun have been delivered to the 247th Guards Air Assault Caucasian Cossack Regiment and have already been dispatched to the NWO zone.
