The combination of the Alkran Mortar system and the Polaris RZR offers the military a highly mobile and flexible mortar platform that can quickly move across rough terrain and rapidly set up and fire mortars in support of ground troops. The system can also be transported by air, making it a useful asset for airborne operations.

Ideal for Shoot and Scoot operations, the Alkaran ‘S’ can shoot 8 rounds and leave the location in less than 2 minutes. The Alakran ‘S’ is equipped with its own Fire Control System (FCS), using GIS Technology and new functions such as Zonal Shooting and Multiple Rounds. Additionally, electro-mechanical engines provide automatic, fast and accurate aiming.

With automatic aiming and re-aiming functions, Alakran provides 81 and 120 mm mortars capabilities while transmitting the recoil force to the ground. The system is user-friendly and can easily be integrated into almost any 4×4 vehicle with the ability to adapt to all types of terrain including deserts, mud, snow, and forests, and is heliborne-capable due to its lightweight design.

Milanion NTGS CEO Julio Estrella said: “Alakran is renowned for its robustness and reliability on the battlefield. Unlike other current mortar systems, Alakran’s patented barrel cooling system allows for sustained rapid fire with no time limit, solving the critical overheating problem on the battlefield. With a patented double baseplate, Alakran transmits all recoil force into the ground, providing unparalleled accuracy, precision, and operator safety when firing”.

Polaris RZR

The Polaris RZR is a high-performance off-road vehicle designed for rough terrain and fast-paced adventures. It is a side-by-side (SxS) utility vehicle that can seat two passengers and is often used for recreational purposes such as rock crawling, mud racing, and dune riding.

The RZR features a powerful engine, typically ranging from 570cc to 1,000cc, and a robust suspension system that allows it to tackle rough terrain with ease. It also has a low center of gravity, which gives it excellent stability and handling even at high speeds.

The RZR is known for its sporty design, with a sleek body and aggressive styling. It typically comes with features such as electronic power steering, adjustable shocks, and a digital display for easy monitoring of speed, fuel level, and other vital information. Some models also come with additional features such as LED lighting, audio systems, and GPS navigation.
