According to pictures published on the Twitter account of Аслан On January 26, 2022, Russian armed forces continue to deploy military equipment and armored combat vehicles to Belarus including the 9P162 Kornet-T anti-tank missile armored vehicle based on BMP-3 IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) tracked chassis.

According to the Russian website "Top War", the 9P162 Kornet-T was unveiled for the first time to the public in 2014 during the tank biathlon competitions in Russia. The vehicle is based on the BMP-3 IFV tracked without the original turret. The vehicle is fitted with a missile launcher station which has two ready-to-fire Kornet missiles, called 9K128 Kornet-S. In road conditions, the launcher station is stored inside of the hull and is erected at the top of the hull to perform all the firing operations.
The 9P162 Kornet-T is fitted with an automatic loading system. The vehicle carries a total of 16 missiles, including 12 stored in two cylinders each carrying six missiles and four stored in the vehicle that can be manually charged on the weapon station.
Using the same chassis as the BMP-3 IFV, the 9P162 Kornet-T can be deployed with a motorized rifle and tank units offering the same mobility in the road and off-road conditions and can provide fire support. The weapon launcher unit is able to fire all the missiles from the Kornet family including 9M133 and 9M113-1 fitted with HEAT warhead able to penetrate up to 1,200 mm of armor and has a firing range from 100 to 5,500m as well as 9M133F and 9M133F-1 missiles equipped with a thermobaric warhead.
The 9P162 Kornet-T is fitted with a block of sighting equipment mounted at the front left side of the hull and protected by an armor cover. The sight system is able to detect and engage targets at a maximum range of 4,000 m. In case of failure with the weapon station, the vehicle also carries a tripod to fire the Kornet missile from a ground station. The missile can be fired during day/night and in all weather conditions.
The 9P162 Kornet-T keeps all the mobility capabilities of the BMP-3 and used the same chassis and powerpack. The vehicle is motorized with a UTD-29 turbocharged diesel engine developing 500 hp. The suspension on either side consists of six dual rubber-tired road wheels with the idler at the front, drive sprocket at the rear, and three track return rollers. It can run at a maximum road speed of 70 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 600 km.
