BIDEC First International Tri-Service Defence Exhibition and Conference in Bahrain.
The BIDEC, the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference will be the first Tri-Service Defense Exhibition in the Middle East, an unique opportunity for the global defense and security industry to showcase latest technologies and innovation of military products. The event will be held in Manama, Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre from the 16 to 18 October 2017.
     
     
The first edition of BIDEC is fully supported by the Bahrain Defence Force, and presents a brand new opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the latest technology, equipment and hardware across land, sea and air. Bahrain Defence Force are currently upgrading their military capabilities and systems.

BIDEC 2017 is held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and organized by the British Company Clarion Events, under the lead of Thomas Gaunt, BIDEC 2017 Event Director. At IDEX 2017, Army Recognition with its Defense and Security Web TV, have done an interview with Thomas Gaunt who has introduce BIDEC.

"Bahrain has a very strong relationships in the region and we expected many visitors from the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries and especially Saudi Arabia who is a close neighbor", said Thomas Gaunt. " BIDEC is a procurement platform for the Bahrain Defence forces, there is many modernization programs for Land, Air and Navy forces of Bahrain. The event is good opportunity to meet current and new suppliers for all range of defense and security requirements.", he added.

On display at the show will be equipment covering Land, Sea, Air and Special Forces including a static display area showcasing the latest military hardware, vehicles and aircraft. In its first edition, the event will showcase over 100 international exhibitors, a variety of conferences, a parachute exercise, shooting range, military vehicle demo and a warship display open to all trade visitors and military delegations.

For this first edition of BIDEC, Clarion Events expects more than 150 International exhibition from all over the world, 3,000 defense and security industry visitors and a large number of Defense Ministry Delegations. BIDEC will also showcase some unique features such as a parachute exercise, shooting range exercise, warship display, military vehicle demo and a static display area showcasing the latest military vehicles and aircraft.
