According the Newspaper Libyan Herald, the armoured vehicles wre delivered to the LNA headquarters in Tobruk on Saturday, April 23, 2016.

A picture of the delivery was released on Internet showing dozens of wheeled armoured vehicle which seem to be the Panthera T6 4x4 APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier).

The Panthera T6 is manufactured by Minerva Special Purpose Vehicles in UAE. The vehicle is build based on a civilian Toyota Landcruiser 79-series Pick-up Truck chassis. The vehicle can be used for urban and cross-country patrol, border security and personnel movement situations (APC) for driver and commander, in addition to up to six troops with space for mission equipment.

The T-6 is available in various body configurations and offers protection against assault rifles to levels CEN1063/1522 BR6/FB6 or BR7/FB7, and against the explosion of two DM51 hand grenades under the floor.

According Janes website, the Panthera T6 was seen several times since March 2015 used by the LNA. The vehicle is also produced in Egypt. The Panthera T6 was not seen in service with any military until May 2014, when it featured in photographs of a parade released by the Egyptian Ministry of Defence.

The Security and Defence Arabia website published an article in October 2014 in which the executive director of the Egyptian company Eagles Defence International Systems said his company was producing the Panthera T6.

On March 22, 2015, photographs of four such vehicles with LNA markings were circulated by LNA media channels. The Libya Arab News Agency (LANA) reported that the LNA had received 900 of the vehicles. Photographs published on LNA websites in late April showed what appeared to be 32 T6s painted a dark blue colour.
