The 58m Patrol Vessel is designed for use by navies, coast guard agencies, and other maritime authorities. This vessel is capable of performing typical missions such as maritime patrol, search-and-rescue, and protection of economic waters. It offers designs for various speed requirements and can quickly respond to diverse challenges through high performance and excellent seakeeping characteristics. The basic design can be easily adapted to suit littoral or confined and shallow water environments and handle specific challenges, such as the rapid interception of smugglers, pirates, or rogue fishing vessels.

The vessel is powered by two diesel-driven waterjets and is equipped with two bow thrusters. It can achieve a range of 2500 nautical miles at a cruise speed of 12 knots. The vessel can be outfitted with weapon systems and includes 2 boarding boats that can be rapidly deployed for specialized tasks.

With a length of 58m and a width of 9.8m, the PV58M can accommodate 53 crew members, including two small high-speed interception boats and their crews. Its operational radius is 2500 nautical miles, and it can reach a maximum speed of 23 knots. Equipped with heavy anti-ship armament, it features two turrets, one of which appears dedicated to anti-aircraft use with a Type 730 CIWS model. It is also fitted with gun ports for close engagements. There is a launching area suitable for drones or small helicopters. No additional information has been released about this patrol vessel. However, it is presumed that it will soon equip Chinese naval units, as it enhances and completes their operational capabilities.
