Ukrainian delegation resulted in 15 memorandums of cooperation during DefExpo 2016
Negotiations, held by Ukrainian delegation during DefExpo 2016, resulted in signing 15 memorandums of cooperation. In particular, UOP signed the Memorandum with the company Reliance Defence Limited on joint development of multipurpose military transport aircraft "AN" on the needs of the Indian Air Force and for civilian purposes.

Negotiations also resulted to finalize the agreement on long-term cooperation to supply gas turbines, produced by UKROBORONPROM enterprise Gas Turbine Research And Production Complex “Zorya-Mashproekt,” on their further installation on Indian naval forces equipment.

In general, Ukrainian delegation held 8 successful talks with the Defence Minister of India and Supreme command of the Indian Armed Forces and more than 30 leading Indian manufacturing companies of military and special purpose products. Among them: Reliance Defence Limited, Tata Power Company Limited, Punj Lloyd, Larsen Turbo.

Ukrainian delegation took into account the fact that India adopted a national defense procurement program 2016, according to which preference will be given to procurement of products, produced with the participation of Indian companies. Therefore, "SpetsTehnoEksport" prepared a number of projects for joint implementation with Indian partners. Most Indian partners are interested in joint projects in the field of aeronautics, production of radar systems and maritime surveillance, maritime and modernization of armored vehicles, air defense systems, aircraft, development of homing heads, and joint development of air-to-air missiles.

During DefExpo 2016 Ukraine is represented by the leading UKROBORONPROM special exporter the SE "Spetstehnoeksport." Ukrainian side was represented by tThe First Deputy Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskyy, UKROBORONPROM Director General Roman Romanov and director of the SE "Spetstehnoeksport" Paul Barbul.
