Russia’s Armed Forces receive Tornado-G multiple launch rocket systems
Russia’s Motovilikha Plants Enterprise has produced and delivered a batch of Tornado-G multiple launch rocket systems to the Defense Ministry, the enterprise’s press office said.

"On August 1, we dispatched the Tornado-G multiple launch rocket systems in accordance with the state defense contract. 2S1 Gvozdika howitzers will be delivered within a month. 2S9 Nona-S artillery systems will be delivered later," the press office quoted Enterprise Deputy CEO for Manufacturing Process Oleg Ryazanov as saying.

The advanced 122mm Tornado-G system is 2.5-3 times more effective than the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system due to its ammunition load and automated sighting, topographic precise positioning and navigation systems.
