TAR will leverage their international market presence to promote IRD’S full line of thermal imaging systems. TAR is presenting its new line of systems and technologies at Milipol 2015. Using integrating cutting edge technologies, IR Defense has successfully designed and developed a state of the art, high-precision all-terrain weapons sight system that generates a clear, distinct thermal image, which by far exceeds other thermal imaging systems available in today’s market. The result of this partnership is in particular the IR Patrol M250 thermal monocular which uses a high technology thumb stick controller to give a full control of the system without having to locate difficult to find buttons in the dark. The thumb controller works in 4 directions and is a fast and intuitive way to navigate to system menus. Te IR Hunter is also a new product in partnership with IR Defense. The IR Hunter's familiar design uses decades of, rifle shooting under our belts. Reliability is based on 100 years of expertise which allows the user to only think about sight alignement, cheek-weld, breath control, trigger squeeze and not about pressing the wrong button. The IR Hunter and the IR Patrol are powered by the new BAE Systems MicroIR thermal core that uses the latest 12um Micron sensors. |
