The NorthStar approach allows its team to design, prototype and test systems rapidly and go from initial concept to fielding aircraft significantly faster than an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is typically capable of. That efficiency results in a reduced project timeframe, increased production capacity, and most importantly, a higher level of overall customer satisfaction.

The NSA 407MRH helicopter is capable of meeting the exacting demands of customers in a range of functions: light attack, close air support, ISR, light assault, passenger transport.

NorthStar Aviation’s NSA 407MRH solution includes a Garmin G1000H System with a dual VHF ATC radios, a dual GPS System, a mode S transponder, a Garmin synthetic vision system and a radar altimeter.

A Mission Management System is provided which includes an integrated moving map with a mission planning, a video recording, integrated tactical multi-band radios and an integrated mode IV IFF transponder.

Four light weight weapons platforms, two on each side, are capable of supporting differents weapon systems like Hellfire missiles, GAU-19 machine gun, M134 mini-gun and Hydra rockets.

These weapons are integrated in a Weapons Management System with FLIR 260HLD EO/IR sensor (under the nose of the helicopter), a microwave downlink system, a TACAN (tactical air navigation system), a NVG compatible interior and exterior lighting and a cockpit cabin armour.

At IDEX 2015, NortStar Aviation's booth is 02-B30.
