At ISNR 2016, the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience which took place from 15 to 17 March 2016 in Abu Dhabi (UAE), French industry presents a wide range of modern security equipment and technologies to counter terrorist threats.
     
     

Nexter Systems with its new TITUS 6x6 Security vehicle presents a new option for security forces offering high level of protection against ballistic and blast explosion threats and equipped with new "Internal Security" kit including unmanned aerial and ground robots.

TITUS is based on a Tatra 6x6 truck chassis, coupled with an engine of 500Hp offering an exceptional mobility. Wrapped with an armored skin of last generation, from level 2 to level 4, TITUS is also protected against mines (up to 4a/4b) and IEDs blasts (up to 150kg), by the original Nexter SAFEPRO design (hanged floor, energy absorbing seats…). RPG protection can be added.

TITUS is fully integrated within the C4I network through last generation vetronics. Nexter Battlefield Management System FINDERS provides a situational awareness, enhanced by a perimeter camera system, and Nerva LG and Novadem's small UAS reconnaissance drones, allowing a safe dismounting.

To meet all the threat environments, TITUS is customizable in different configurations. In its "lower intensity" variant, the TITUS features i.a. 7,62mm RCWS, protection level 2, forward crowd fence, dozer blade, non-lethal weapons,etc
