The IKR ACV is intended to replace the SNL-8 inflatable boat to perform reconnaissance missions of water barriers.

The main difference between the two vehicles will be that the IKR can move both on water and on land, and can conduct reconnaissance through frozen water and ice thanks to its built-in modern sonar system and a set of portable reconnaissance systems.

The IKR hovercraft has been developed since 2014 by Neptun OJSC.

The hovercraft can be loaded on a 8x8 Kamaz truck. It has a length of 7.8m, a width of 3.1 m and a height of 3m with inflated boards.

The IKR features a max speed on land and water of 60 km/h and an operational range of 250 km. Its main armament consists of one 7.62 mm machine gun.
