Russian company Rosoboronexport promotes special assault rifles for the global market of firearms

Rosoboronexport promotes the AS special assault rifle. The AS special assault rifle is designed to engage manpower protected by body armour and soft-skin vehicles. The special cartridges, integrated silencer, and operating scheme ensure noiseless and flameless firing. The assault rifle features low weight, small dimensions, and folding metal butt-stock. AS can boast an enhanced balance. The weapon`s firing mechanism has two firing modes, namely single-shot and automatic ones.The assault rifle is equipped with organic adjustable iron sights; it can also be complemented with various optical or optoelectronic sighting systems.

The AS assault rifle fires SP-6 enhanced penetration and SP-5 sniper 9x39 mm cartridges. The weapon is fed from a 20-round magazine. According to the specifications of the AS assault rifle in the official catalogue of the Rosoboronexport company, the firearm has a caliber of 9 mm, an accuracy firing range of up to 400 m, a muzzle velocity of up to 295 m/s, a weight of 2.5 kg (with magazine, without ammo and sight), a length of 878 mm and of 615 mm with folded butt-stock, and a cartridge capacity of 20 rounds.

Rosoboronexport also promotes the SR3 compact assault rifle. The SR3 compact assault rifle is designed to engage manpower wearing body armour and soft-skin vehicles at distances up to 200 m. The weapon fires SP-5 and SP-6 9x39 mm special cartridges. The SP-6 cartridge can effectively pierce body armour.

The special cartridges feature low ricochet, therefore, the SR-3 compact assault rifle is useful in confined spaces.
The weapon is fed from the 10-round and 20-round magazines that are unified with the ones of the AS assault rifle and the VSS sniper rifle. The firerarm is fitted with a folding metal butt-stock.

According to the specifications of the SR3 compact assault rifle in the official catalogue of the Rosoboronexport company, the firearm has a caliber of 9 mm, an accuracy firing range of 200 m, a muzzle velocity of 295 m/s, a firing rate of 840 rounds per minute, a weight of 2.1 kg (with 20-round magazine, without ammo), a length of 640 mm and of 396 mm with folded butt-stock, and a cartridge capacity of 10 or 20 rounds.

Rosoboronexport also promotes the SR.3M compact firearm that is a modified variant of the SR3 compact assault rifle. SR.3M is designed to engage manpower (including the one wearing 2nd-class CRISAT-type body armour) and soft-skin vehicles at distances of up to 400 m using optical sights. The weapon fires the SP-5 sniper and the SP-6 armour-piercing cartridges.

The SR.3M assault rifle can be used in several configurations, for instance, with folded butt-stock and without silencer or with unfolded butt-stock and attached silencer. The detachable silencer and special bullets ensure drastic reduction of the shot indicators, namely, noise, smoke, and flame. A folding grip integrated with the lower part of the handguard increases weapon`s controllability and firing effectiveness in the short bursts firing mode. SR.3M can be used with iron sights, the PSO-1M2-1 optical sight, or the NSPU-3 night sight. The assault rifle can be prepared for firing within very short time.

According to the specifications of the SR.3M compact assault rifle in the official catalogue of the Rosoboronexport company, the firearm has a caliber of 9 mm, an accuracy firing range of 200 m with iron sights and of 400 m with optical sight, a muzzle velocity of 295 m/s, a weight of 2.2 kg (without magazine and silencer), a magazine weight (without ammo) of 0.18 kg for the 20-round variant and of 0.34 kg for the 30-round variant, a length (without silencer) of 675 mm with unfolded butt-stock and of 410 mm with the folded one, a length (with silencer) of 970 mm with unfolded butt-stock and of 700 mm with the folded one, and a cartridge capacity of 20 or 30 rounds.
