CHETRA-PM develops, designs and manufactures the CHETRA TM-140, one of the world's finest all-terrain vehicles in terms of cross-country capabilities. The vehicle is especially designed to have high maneuverability and survivability, even in soils with low bearing capacity.

According to the experts, the transport and logistics systems based on all-terrain CHETRA TM140 vehicles for the most effective and safe development of Russia’s Arctic regions can be used to solve a number of social and economic issues and improve the living standards of the people in the regions that do not have a developed transport and logistics infrastructure. The CHETRA vehicles are adapted to the harsh climate of the Far North and can be used for transportation regardless of weather conditions due to the high maneuverability and advanced navigation system.

The CHETRA PM-140 is able to carry loads of up to 4 tons and traverses swamp areas and permafrost. The vehicle is purposed for transportation of shifts of workers, geological survey troops, and repair teams and for other off-theroad transportation requirements. The CHETRA PM-140 is designed to operate in boreal climatic conditions within temperature range of +40°C to -40°C.

The Chetra PM-140 is motorized with a YaMZ-236 B2 gas-turbine-charged engine developing 250 hp. The vehicle uses a six-speed hydromechanical transmission with electrical hydraulic gear shift features 6 forward and 2 reverse speeds. Hydromechanical transmission provides creeping speeds of about 4 km/h.

The CHETRA PM-140 personnel carrier is purposed for accommodation and transportation of up to 8 passengers and freights up to 1000 kg. The module is mounted on the bodies of TM140 and TM130 vehicles and can be used in various climatic conditions at ambient air temperature from +40°C to -40°C in cross-country with slopes and hills, in rainy and snowy weather, when it hails, on ice-covered surfaces, and for crossing water barriers.

CHETRA TM -140 with autohydrolifts Palfinger P200A for the repair and maintenance of electric power pylons.

In March 2014, CHETRA has introduced two new modifications based on the CHETRA TM-140, with drilling rig and telescopic lift, both produced by JSC "Kurganmashzavod" ("Machinery and Industrial Group").

First new modification of terrain vehicles - CHETRA TM- 140 with rig. Machine is designed to offer complex decisions in drilling wells for various purposes in grounds of 1-4 drilling resistance categories , as an option, using of flushing and washing is possible to drill grounds up to 10th drilling resistance category. TM 140 with drilling rig can be used for sampling while performing engineering-geological surveys and field testing of soil.

The second innovative modification - is the terrain vehicles CHETRA TM -140 with autohydrolifts Palfinger P200A. Machine is designed for the repair and maintenance of electric power pylons and can raise job basket to up to 20 meters height with maximum load capacity of 230 kg.

The main advantage of lever- lift telescopic Palfinger P200A is a simple and reliable hydraulic control system , compactness and agility of Z- shaped configuration of the boom. This provides a parallel movement of the vehicle between buildings , structures , or any other objects.
