Today opening of Warrior Competition 2018 at KASOTC in Amman Jordan


Today opening of the Warrior Competition 2018 at the KASOTC, King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center that will take place in Amman, Jordan from the 30 April to 7 May 2018. Each year, the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) invites Jordanian and international teams, from Special Operations Forces and Law Enforcement Units, to participate in the Warrior Competition and compete in a series of challenging events designed to test their skills and endurance.

Teams of elite Special Forces, military and law enforcement units from all over the world are welcome to take part and compete in the Annual Warrior competition’s decennial.

The competition is especially tailored to challenge, enhance and hone the abilities of the teams competing for the title as it highlights individual skills of the team members as well as their ability to work together to plan and execute the hardest yet most realistic and challenging tasks and scenarios these units may face on duty.

The significance of this world class competition is derived from the prominence and advancement of the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center – KASOTC as the center proves its worth as one of the best training centers in the world when it comes to training facilities, technology, and subject matter experts in the fields of counter terrorism, special operations and law enforcement.

As next year marks the competition’s decennial, KASOTC is expanding the number of participating teams as well as extending the duration of the competition to 7 days so organizers can show all participating teams the historic and touristic sites of Jordan.

This year, the Warrior Competition is attended by more than 40 teams representing 25 countries from 5 continents as Asia, Africa, Middle East, North America, and Europe.

The Special Forces and SWAT team at the Warrior Competition 2018 come from Austria, Brunei, Belarus, China, Czech Republic, Greece, India, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Kuwait, Lebanon, Moldova, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and United States.
