The S-300-P, NATO designation SA-10 Grumble is the first variant of the Russian-made S-300 family of long-range surface-to-air missile systems. The S-300P was designed and manufactured by the Company Almaz Antey. The S-300 system was developed to defeat aircraft and cruise missiles.

The S-300 PS (first generation) with NATO denomination SA-10B (Grumble B), is a more mobile alternative to the basic version of the surface-to-air missile system S-300 PT. A battery of S-300 is composed of launcher units 5P85S and 5P85D with Flap Lid B radar and command post 54K6E.
The S-300 PT is a long-range surface-to-air missile system produced by NPO Almaz. The S-300 PT is intended to defeat current and future air targets in all conditions of their combat employment.
