The NERVA LG is a mini, multi-purpose UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) designed and developed by the French Company Nexter Robotics, a subsidiary of Nexter Group. The NERVA LG has been designed to perform a wide range of missions and can be used by SWAT team to perform counter-terrorism operations.

The design of the NERVA LG is very unique. It can be fitted with either wheels or tracks without any tools, in less than a few seconds according to the mission requirements. It can be fitted with up to 20 mission kits based on the operational requirements. Module missions of the NERVA LG includes 360° vision, high-definition day camera, thermal imaging / infrared camera with uncoupled detector allow operations in low-light / night conditions.

The NERVA LG can also be fitted with audio intercom bi-directional communication system to receive operator voice and predefined sounds. Other mission modules also include CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) detectors, lighting system, exploration and self-mapping kits, anti-IED tool kit, non-lethal grenade, and smoke generator together with anti-intruder and position-marking devices.

The NERVA LG is small size robot with a length of 350 mm, width of 310 mm and height of 150 mm, and weighs only 4.5 kg. It has the ability to withstand shocks, vibrations and temperatures up to MIL-STD-810 standard.

The NERVA LG UGV can be operated in both manual and semi-automatic modes. In the semi-automatic mode, the robot can autonomously navigate by traversing the pre-defined waypoints. The robot has the capability to return to home automatically when the mission is completed.

The NERVA LG can be integrated into combat systems as an aerial drone or combat vehicles. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor operations and can be used by mounted and dismounted soldiers.
