According to information published by the "MIL.IN.UA" website on September 27, 2022, the Ukrainian company Ukrtransgaz has developed a new mobile self-propelled anti-tank weapon system based on the Soviet-made tracked multirole armored vehicle MT-LB fitted with a Soviet-made MT-12 anti-tank gun.

The Ukrainian armed forces continue to lack modern military equipment to fight the Russian troops and to deal with this problem, the Ukrainian defense industries are developing solutions local-made solutions using captured Russian combat vehicles or weapons used by the Ukrainian army.
The Ukrainian defense company has developed a new anti-tank tracked armored vehicle using a Soviet-made MT-12 100mm anti-tank gun mounted on the roof of an MT-LB multirole tracked armored vehicle.
The Mt-12 entered in production in 1970. The gun is normally operated by a six-man crew consisting of a commander, driver of the towing vehicle, gun layer on the left, loader on the right, and two ammunition reloaders. The gun can fire a wide range of ammunition including APFSDS (Armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot), HEAT (High-Explosive Anti-Tank), and HE (High Explosive). The HEAT is able to penetrate 350 mm of RHA (Rolled Homogeneous Armor) at 90º. The T-12/MT-12 can also fire the 9M117 Kastet laser-guided projectile, which has a range of 100 to 4,000 m with its HEAT warhead penetrating between 550 and 600 mm of conventional steel armor.
Using the MT-LB tracked chassis, the Ukrainian company Ukrtransgaz offers a new anti-tank vehicle able to run in all-terrain conditions which can be quickly deployed and removed from firing position to avoid counter-battery fire.
The MT-12 anti-tank gun is mounted at the rear of the MT-LB roof and protected by armor plates providing protection for the crew against the firing of small arms.
The MT-LB is a multipurpose tracked armored vehicle that was designed at the Kharkov Tractor Plant in Ukraine under the direction of Anatoliy Belousov in the early 1960s. The hull of the MT-LB is all-welded steel armor with the crew compartment at the front, the engine immediately behind the crew compartment on the left side and a troop or cargo compartment at the rear of the hull.
The MT-LB is based on a tracked chassis consisting of six road wheels with the drive sprocket at the front and the idler at the rear with hydraulic shock-absorbers on swing arms on the first and last road wheel stations. There are no track-return rollers as the top of the track rests on the top of the road wheels. The vehicle is motorized with a YaMZ 238 V V-8 cylinder diesel developing 240 hp at 2,100 rpm coupled to a manual transmission with 6 forward and 1 reverse gears. It can run at a maximum road speed of 61 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 500 km.
