Developers from Kryvyi Rih took four months to design and manufacture this demining machine. The excavator is equipped with surveillance cameras, which facilitate the work of the operator who can watch the surrounding environment. The system includes the main body of the crawler excavator, a rotating chains demining device with a protective shield at the front of the device and an armored driver-operator cabin. The demining machine works at a speed of up to 2 km/h.

The system was developed with the support of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council. Such a machine will help rescuers carry out humanitarian demining in fields and enable farmers to plan future sowing campaigns.

"Hammers bolted on the chains of the Vinnytsia have an impact force of 1,500 to 1,700 kg but 150 kg is enough to detonate an anti-tank mine. That is, if the mine is buried deep enough, the force of the impact will be enough for it to explode. Also, these hammers are located far from the armored shield (almost 2 meters away), which ensures the safety of the operator and the machine itself," said the developer of the demining system.

After the tests, the machine must receive an appropriate certification allowing its developers to go into serial production.
