According to a video published on the Facebook account of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 1, 2022, soldiers from the 24th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian army have destroyed a Russian BRDM-2 4x4 wheeled reconnaissance armored vehicle using Stugna-P or Konkurs anti-tank guided missile.

Russia is considered as one of the most powerful military forces in the world with a total of 2,840 Main Battle Tanks (MBTs) including 650 T-72B/BA, 850 T-72B3, 530 T-72B3M, 310 T-80BV/U, 140 T-80BVM, 350 T-90/T-90A, and 10 T-90M as well as 10,200 tanks in store including 7,000 T-72/T-72A/B, 3,000 T-80B/BV/U, 200 T-90 and an undisclosed number of T-62 and T-55.
Other armored vehicles of the Russian armed forces include 5,220 IFVs (Infantry Fighting Vehicles) with 500 BMP-1, 3,000 BMP-2, 600 BMP-3, 20+ BMP-3M, 100 BTR-80A, 1,000 BTR-82A/AM and 8,500 vehicles in store with 7,000 BMP-1 and 1,500 BMP-2.
Thanks to the support of the foreign countries, Ukraine's armed forces have received different types of anti-tank weapons including American guided missiles Javelin, British NLAW and LAW M7, Panzerfaust 3, and Matador rocket-propelled grenades.
Ukrainian soldiers have demonstrated their abilities to use anti-tank weapons to destroy Russian tanks and armored vehicles, in this case, a Stugna-P or Konkurs anti-tank guided missile to target a Russian BRDM-2 4x4 light reconnaissance armored vehicle.
Citing information from a report written by Mark F. Cancian and published on the CSIS (Center for Strategic International Studies) website, infantry anti-tank weapons have allowed Ukrainian forces, which are mostly light infantry, to defeat Russian mechanized forces despite their much greater firepower.
According to open source information, Ukraine's army uses different types of anti-tank weapons including 9K11 Malyutka, 9K111 Fagot, 9M113 Konkurs, 9K115 Metis, 9K115-2 Metis-M, 9M117 Bastion, Kombat, Stugna-P, RK-3 Corsar, Barrier, NLAW, 9K111M Fagot, 9M133 Kornet, and 9M133M Kornet-M.
The Stugna-P is an anti-tank missile system designed and manufactured in Ukraine. It is able of destroying low-altitude, slow-moving aerial targets. The laser-guided system has a range of 4,000 meters and can penetrate armor up to 800 millimeters in thickness.
The Konkurs missile is a Soviet-made SACLOS (Semi-automatic command to line of sight) wire-guided anti-tank missile. The missile is able to penetrate 750 to 800 mm RHA (Rolled homogeneous armor). It has a maximum firing range of 4 km and 2.5 km with a night sight.
