The Taiwanese Army shows its new Bistatic Radar - Passive Receiver system for coast surveillance at TADTE 2013, Taipei Aerospace and Defense Technology Exhibition in Taiwan. The system is designed for forward deployment to provide wide-angle coverage to control the national airspace. | |||

This mobile passive receiver system is equipped with planar phased-array radar which is invisible for enemy radar-seeking missiles and electronic countermeasures. The radar can transmit data about enemy aircraft and helicopters to missile firing vehicles. The whole system is mounted on Daewoo 4x4 military truck. |
