The French company ELNO presented HOPLITE at SOFINS 2017, its new headset dedicated to special forces. HOPLITE combines an active noise attenuation system and a digital noise reduction for a more comfortable use in operations, and its 3D TalkThrough system provides a 3 dimensional perception of the user's environment.

HOPLITE is the result of more than 16 years of experience ine manufacturing and supplying osteophonic headsets and noise reduction technology. This new generation of ELNO headsets marks a technological step forward and increases the operational efficiency of equipment.
HOPLITE provides a high level of ease of use and passive protection thanks to its ergonomic ear pads and allows communication in noisy environments. Cartilaginous conduction offers the operator the possibility of using ear plugs for double hearing protection in very noisy environments. Thanks to active nois attenuation (ANR), the noise level is considerably reduced (especially for low frequencies). The main characteristic of this new device is its 3-dimensional exterior listnening option: 3D TalkThrough, which reproduces ambient noise and offers the user a real spatial perception of his 360° environment. |
