Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a business unit of Cubic Corporation, is exhibiting various training and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) products and capabilities at Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) held in Amman, Jordan from May 9 – 12.

For the first time, Cubic displays its comprehensive C4ISR products and solutions, including technologies from the company’s newly acquired subsidiaries: DTECH LABS (DTECH), GATR Technologies (GATR) and TeraLogics. These integrated capabilities include “internet on-the-move,” end-to-end Full Motion Video (FMV) management and satellite-based communications operating in a network-centric environment that can interact with virtually all modern Combat Net Radio systems. Cubic will also demonstrate mission readiness solutions – from training to tactical operations – including tactical vehicle laser engagement training and advanced special operations skills for defense and security organizations.

“With our ‘training to tactical’ strategy, Cubic is focused on increasing its offerings for customers in the Middle East region, and we look forward to highlighting at SOFEX our networked C4ISR capabilities that are interoperable with other equipment and battlefield networks,” said John Naff, general manager of Cubic Defense Saudi Arabia and vice president of business development, Cubic Global Defense. “These comprehensive capabilities will provide enhanced flexibility for not only ground and air training systems, but also tactical communications solutions that support real operations and mission readiness.”

Cubic showcases the following training and C4ISR solutions at SOFEX:
- Real-Time FMV: TeraLogics’ cloud-based Unified Video® streaming software, which pairs real-time FMV and sensor metadata with geospatial imagery to create insight and generate actionable intelligence.

- Secure networking solutions: DTECH, which designs, manufactures and integrates diverse networking solutions, will display TeraLogics’ Unified Video through their stackable and secure Mobile Modular Micro-Secure Enclave (M3-SE) system. DTECH will also exhibit the TXC4 Tactical Router/Network Gateway as well as M3-Lite products.

- Satellite communication terminals: GATR’s ultra-portable antenna technology enables comparable performance to rigid deployable antennas of similar size, but with up to 85 percent reduction in the logistical size and weight, giving an operational and transportability advantage to both government and commercial industries.

- Specialized Special Operations Forces training: NEK offers advanced special operations skills training for defense and security institutions and units.

- Integrated-Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System Combat Vehicle Systems (I-MILES CVS) Kit: Cubic’s U.S. Army Tactical Vehicle System (TVS) MILES Kit can be used on combat vehicles such as tanks and armored fighting vehicles. The modular-designed Combat Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System (CVTESS) Kit uses the same components as the TVS Kit, but adds components for main guns and other integrated weapons.

Attendees can visit Cubic at booth #B120 in Hall 1 at the King Abdullah I Airbase in Amman, Jordan.
