SITDEF 2019: FN Herstal from Belgium exhibits its full range of military products
At SITDEF 2019, Defense and Prevention of Disasters Exhibition that takes place in Peru, Belgian Company FN Herstal exhibits the legendary firearms, integrated weapon systems and state-of-the-art technology that continues to position it as one of the world’s foremost and most innovative firearms manufacturers.

For 130 years, the Belgian Company FN Herstal has provided generations of Defense and Security Forces as well as Special Units, with firearms that give them a clear advantage in any engagement. This proud tradition is set to continue long into the future.
At SITDEF 2019, FN Herstal showcases their latest products in the fields of weapons, training system, and airborne pod that includes Subcompact FN SCAR®-SC carbine, FN Machine guns, FN Expert training system and FN® HMP250 LCC airborne pod weapon system.
At the end of 2017, FN Herstal launched its new FN SCAR®-SC Subcompact Carbine in 5.56x45mm (.223). More recently, the company unveiled a variant in 7.62x35mm (.300 BLK) caliber. Both feature a standard telescopic buttstock and are available with a wide choice of buttstock types and accessories to accommodate the specific needs of the users.

FN Herstal provides complete, state-of-the-art solutions to enhance dismounted soldier capabilities, such as the FN® FCU Mk3 fire control unit for 40 mm grenades, the FN® SAM solution – combining FN SmartCore® shot counter and associated software – ensuring optimized, digital small arms management, and the FN® Expert marksmanship training system for carbines, rifles and recoilless rifles guns that is safe, efficient and easy to use for both shooters and instructors.
FN Herstal fixed-forward firing weapon systems come with a complete suite of solutions, providing military forces with the highest level of operational capability for their rotary- or fixed-wing applications thanks to a range of pods that integrate machine guns and/or rockets, together with innovative control and aiming systems.
On the booth of FN Herstal at SITDEF 209, the Company also displays the FN® HMP250 LCC airborne pod system, an all-in-one concept, featuring the exclusive .50 cal FN® M3P machine gun (firing 1,100 RPM).
