Scale model of the new stealth vessel M-RIB 17 designed by the Serbian Company Airtech Systems at Partner 2017, the International Fair of Armaments and Defense Equipment in Belgrade, Serbia.

The stealth technology of the M-RIB 17 is based on a new handrails-angular design, cabin and freeboard-form and tubus-bumpers. It also used special RAM (radar absorbing material) coatings, TRSC (thermal signature reduction coating), smart and big cooling system combined with jet propulsion to reduce thermal footprint, and finally special texture surfaces.

Vessel is constructed to eliminate radar and weapon recognition and positioning by application of three technologies, RRCS reduced radar cross section, RAM radar absorbing material and IR stealth infrared invisible.

The M-RIB 17.5 is equipped with two diesel engines Rolls Royce MTU 1600HP and two Rolls Royce Kamewa jet propulsion systems. It has two tanks, place below main deck in double bottom. Both tanks are equipped with electric level indicators with level gauge in helm position.

Fresh water for cooling system will be taken from four intake strainers, two for each engine. Engine room hatches are "Twin-layer" constructed to be liquid cooled by flow or fresh water which results in lower thermal footprint. Muffler for exhaust gases is constructed to suppress noise and thermal footprint as much as possible.

Hull, cabin and deck of this vessel is manufactured from high quality marine grade aluminum and carbon materials, reinforced with aramid fibers and bulletproof, strengthened panel composite structure in the walls. Space between inner and outer hull and tubes are filled with special foam which makes this boat unsinkable.

The front of the vessel can be fitted with a remotely operated weapon station armed with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun mounted on a hydraulic platform which can be lowered inside the boat. The rear part of the vessel can be fitted with missile launcher station.
