"The new assault rifles have a regulated telescopic-type buttstock while the magazine cases made out of transparent polymers make it possible to control ammunition spending. Besides, the assault rifles have a fastener system designed for the installation of various sighting and observation instruments, laser pointers, lights, etc. Despite considerable modernization, the assault rifle has preserved attachments for fixing a knife-bayonet and a rifle-attached grenade launcher," it said.

The existing modifications make it possible for the servicemen to improve the accuracy of fire; while the existing equipment for the noiseless fire makes it possible to raise the efficiency of fulfilling some tasks.
