United States has a plan to create commando force in Libya to fight extremists
 

The United States plans to help Libya build a commando force to fight extremists like those that staged the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, officials said Oct. 16. President Barack Obama’s administration is seeking congressional approval for $6.2 million in Pentagon funds and $1.6 million from the State Department’s budget for the initiative, according to documents from each department.

Kazakhstan signs a contract with Turkish Company Otokar to produce locally Cobra 4x4 armoured
 

Turkey’s leading armored vehicles manufacturer, Otokar, will launch a production line in Kazakhstan, the company said in a statement. A memorandum of understanding for the venture was signed Oct. 12 in Istanbul during the Turkish-Kazakh Investment and Commerce Forum, the statement said. The deal was witnessed by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
