Turkish Company MKEK will assist Azerbaijan to deliver munitions to the world defence market.
The issue of joint export sale was discussed and agreed on during the visit of Turkish Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz to Baku mid-October. According to the agreement, Turkish companies, especially MKEK will assist Azerbaijani Defense Industry Ministry in this issue.
     

     

In the initial stage the munitions produced by the Azerbaijani enterprises will be delivered to the world markets together with the Turkish companies.

According to MKEK officials, as defense industry is new in Azerbaijan, it may face problems in the world market, where there is strong competition. The company is ready to deliver Azerbaijani products to its clients abroad. MKEK and the Azerbaijani side are taking steps to export RPG-7V grenade launchers, their munitions, VOQ-25 munitions and munitions for Kalashnikov assault rifles.
