Russia sells armored vehicles BMP-T, BTR-82 and TOS Buratino in Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh military will take delivery of 12 BTR-82 8x8 wheeled armored personnel carriers, three Buratino heavy flame-thrower tracked vehicles, and three BMP-T Terminator tank support fighting vehicles. The latter can carry the 9M120 Ataka-T (AT-16 Scallion) anti-armor missile.

In the context of military-technical cooperation with Kazakhstan, Russia exported for the first time modern armament to this country.

This was announced by Konstantin Birjulin, deputy director of the Federal Service for Russian Military-Technical Cooperation

"This year we have exported armored vehicles, including twelve armored personnel carriers BTR-82, three heavy flamethrower Buratino and three armored combat vehicles BMP-T Terminator to Kazakhstan," said the deputy director.

All this new armored vehicles was show during the military parade in August 2011, dedicated to the Constitution Day and the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence.

Birjulin also said that Russia and Kazakhstan make active negotiations on further purchases of Russian armored vehicles and other types of armaments.
