UDS 114 excavators on KrAZ chassis delivered to Donbas rescuers


Rescue team of Ukraine’s SSES Field Office in Donetsk region received new vehicles based on the 6х6 KrAZ-63221 chassis as part of the fleet upgrade and renovation program. According to the website of State Service for Emergency Situations, three special vehicles entered service with rescuers of the Donetsk region.

The UDS 114 (63221) boom excavators are versatile special vehicles used for all kinds of excavation works. These vehicles will improve operational efficiency during the response to industrial land natural disasters. These excavators can be used for trench digging and widening, leveling, soil loosening, with shovel bucket and ripper, load handling with a hydraulic crane with a weight of up to 12 tonnes, crushing of rocks and concrete elements with a hydraulic hammer.

The CSM equipment (Slovakia) mounted on the KrAZ-63221 mass-produced chassis by the Ukrainian factory “Tekhkomplekt” features a 2,6 tonne-lifting capacity at maximum reach and 7 tonnes at minimum reach. Power: 104 kW, capacity of main bucket: 0,63 cu.m., digging efficiency: 108 cu.m./h, maximum digging depth: 6,5 m. Digging reach when not extended: 6,3 m, when extended: 10,5 m.
