The young specialists have to develop breakthrough technologies and design prospective arms and hardware for the force. High-tech recruits will combine airborne service with the work at defense enterprises in Tula region. In contrast to ordinary paratroopers who engage mostly in combat training, the young scientists will train only once a week and spend the rest of the time in the design bureau and production entity.

The new servicemen will be sworn in and begin to work in the scientific company in January 2019. The scientific company created in the Tula airborne division will be engaged in the work of the Shipunov Design Bureau and Splav Production Amalgamation.
