Turkey to discuss production of Nurol Makina 4x4 armored in Romania


According to the newspaper website Wall-Street of Romania, Turkish Company Nurol Makina officials will come in Romania this month to discuss an agreement for the production of wheeled armoured vehicles in Romania.

The Turkish company’s officials have had several meetings with the Romanian side over the past three years, expressing their interest in signing partnerships with Romanian companies. The firm wants to talk with the Romanian authorities about an agreement to develop a production and assembly line for its latest generation of armored carriers.

The Turkish Company Nurol Makina ve Sanayi A.S. was founded in 1976 to deliver turnkey industrial plants and perform large scale contracting regarding steel construction and machinery production. The Company is now a producer of wheeled combat armoured vehicles including the NMS, Ejder Yalcin, Ejder Toma, Ilgaz II and Ejder Kunter.

The Ejder Yalçin is the latetest generation of wheeled armoured vehicles in the Ejder family. The vehicle was unveiled for the first time to the public during the defense exhibition Hight Tech Port in November 2016.

Recently, Nurol Makina has signed a agreement with Uzbekistan to produce 1,0000 Ejder Yalcin 4x4 armoured vehicles in the country.
