The Belarus armed forces will be equipped with a fourth battery of Russian-made Tor-M2 short range air defense missile systems for December 2016. Belraus has already received three batteries of Tor-M2 from 2011 to 2013. | |||

Russia has delivered a third battery of Tor-M2 air defense systems to Belarus by the end of 2013. Two Tor-M2 batteries were delivered to Belarus in 2011 and 2012. They have been deployed with the 120th Missile Brigade in western Belarus. The Tor-M2 is an upgraded version of the Tor-M1 short-range air defense missile system. The TOR-M2/M2E is designed by the Russian Defense Company Almaz-Antey. The TOR-M2 was presented for the first time to the public during the Moscow Air Show, MAKS in 2007. | |||
