Russian Ministry of Defense has signed seven contracts of military orders for 6.7 billion euros.
The Russian Ministry of Defense concluded Wednesday, November 9, 2011, seven contracts for military orders for a total of 6.7 billion euros, said the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

"Seven contracts totaling more than 280 billion rubles were signed today," he said during a meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers and representatives of the Russian military-industrial complex.

Russia seeks to modernize its army and strengthen its military power. Vladimir Putin has always shown its intentions to have a powerful army.

Russian army today is equipped with the latest technology in weaponry, and continues to export military equipment worldwide.
