This month, the Russian military units stationed in the region will be supplied with 26 units of the tracked self-propelled howitzer 2S19 MSTA-S, which will replace the old 2S3 Akatsiya 152mm. The crews of these new vehicles will be trained by specialist of the manufacturer Company to learn the new innovations of 2S19.

Currently, more than 60 artillery junior specialist soldiers are studying features, operations and the use of the 2S19 MSTA-S at the Ministry of Defence training center in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This new artillery system is more powerful than its predecessor the 2S3, and has more firepower and range.
