Sagem and Ukrainian state-owned company CharZ team up on drones
 
 
Sagem (Safran group) and the Chuguev Aircraft Repair Plant (CharZ), a Ukrainian state-owned company, have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) concerning tactical drone systems.

According to the MoA signed by Oleg V. Solovyov, head of CharZ, and Jean-Lin Fournereaux, Chairman and CEO of Sagem, the two companies will establish an exclusive teaming arrangement on tactical drones in Ukraine.

This joint venture will offer the Ukrainian ministry of defense, as well as other ministries, and public and private companies, drone systems meeting their specific defense or homeland security needs.

It will cover joint production and logistics support for these drone systems.

The application of the agreement is subject to authorization by the French and Ukrainian governments.
