IDEX 2021: Patria showcases AMVXP 8x8 armored vehicle.

Patria attends the international defence exhibition IDEX on 21 – 25th February 2021 in Abu Dhabi showcasing several state-of-the-art products. IDEX is the only international defence exhibition and conference in the MENA region demonstrating the latest technology across land, sea and air sectors of defence. The exhibition takes place biennially at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in Abu Dhabi. Patria’s stand number is H8-B19.

Patria AMVXP is a state-of-the-art modular, high-performance and robust armoured wheeled vehicle providing the superior protection and mobility. Our combat proven AMV family has gained experience from various operations and has become an iconic part of the today’s peacekeeping and crises management missions.

Patria AMVXP provides the performance and features of a multi-role vehicle. AMVXP is perfect for any operation in any environment where you need the best mobility, survivability and fire power. Patria offers large scale of AMVXP variants to meet the specific needs of our customers worldwide from hot deserts to arctic conditions.


AMVXP is available with highest level modular ballistic protection and potential for state-of-the-art active defence systems. With AMVXP you can protect your troops against IED, NBC, ballistic threats of up to level K5+. AMVXP´s mine protection is scalable even above STANAG level 4a/4b. AMVXP’s optimised shape, low radar and thermal signature enable AMVXP’s superior stealth features.


AMVXP has state-of-the-art fully independent hydropneumatic suspension system and extremely strong chassis construction for high speed off-road driving. AMVXP’s easy to use and unrivalled mobility is based on high performance powerline together with an Integrated Terrain Control System (ITCS) and optional rear axle steering for enhanced manoeuvrability. It is supported by large wheel size and CTIS for low ground pressure, Run Flat system and ABS. AMVXP is available with amphibious capability for water crossing and amphibious landing operations.


AMVXP's chassis characteristics enable the use of any weapon system needed for engaging targets rapidly and with pinpoint accuracy. AMVXP is ideal for integration of medium-calibre weapon systems, direct fire cannon systems up to 120 mm, Patria Nemo 120 mm turreted mortar system and anti-tank or anti-aircraft missile systems. AMVXP's high payload with large internal volume enables carrying all weapon systems, ammunition and the crew equipment according to your mission needs.


Patria AMVXP 8x8 has been developed to provide optimal modularity of components and to be adaptable for a wide range of versions without changing basic vehicle systems.
Patria AMVXP is available in three different models:

- Basic model provides the platform for following variants: armoured personnel carrier (APC), infantry fighting v-hicle (IFV), command vehicle, ambulance, reconnaissance vehicle, anti-tank guided missile vehicle (ATGM), armoured repair and recovery vehicle (ARRV), and finally, the 120 mm Patria Nemo mortar system.

- High Roof Model provides extra space at the rear of the vehicle (34 cm higher than the basic model), which is ideal if the vehicle is used as a command, C4I, ambulance or workshop vehicle.

-Heavy Weapon Platform has been optimised to carry large-calibre weapon systems such as the 120 mm AMOS mortar system or the 105/120 mm mobile cannons (MGS).

All previously mentioned 3 models and all their variants of AMVXP are available as 40 cm longer vehicle.
