The Targi Kielce Management Board’s official communication regarding the International Defence Industry Exhibition held in September 2020.  We are truly happy to have received the Polish Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki’s declaration of July 9, 2020, regarding the Polish Armaments Group participation in the International Defence Industry Exhibition held in Targi Kielce from 8 to 10 September 2020.

This announcement has made it possible to proceed the expo preparation activities at full-speed without any obstacles and thus become ready for the autumn exhibition season. The International Defence Industry Exhibition in this year’s unveiling is a three days’ event, not a four-day trade show as it used to be before. MSPO is the upcoming expo season highlight. Following the previous years’ example, the Polish Armaments Group will join the expo in the strategic partner capacity, the United Kingdom is this year’s MSPO Lead Nation

There are further impulses and prods which spur us into even more intense action and even stronger preparation before the autumn exhibitions, including MSPO - the Polish government’s other members’ statements make us sure that the epidemic situation in the country is now under control. The Minister of Health and the head of the Polish government have publicly reassured about the pandemic containment - at one of the meetings with the residents of TomaszówLubelski and Kraśnik on 30 June 2020, the Prime Minister said: (...) I am glad that we are less and less afraid of (...) the virus and the virus epidemic. This is a good attitude. You don't have to be afraid of the virus now ...

The Minister of Health Mr. ŁukaszSzumowski’sstatement for the Rzeczpospolita Daily of 6 July 2020 makes it possible to adopt equally optimistic attitude towards the expos organisation: (...)the results of large-scale tests carried out in recent days are the most important. The people who intend to go to sanatoriums, i.e. about 15,000 people were the subject of screening. There were only 27 infections among the tested, thus very few cases in the active part of the population ...

We wish to express our gratitude for the Prime Minister’s position regarding the PGZ participation in MSPO. We declare that all government guidelines regarding expo safety will be duly met. We have exercised utmost professional care and conduct and we have even gone an extra mile compared to the applicable hygienic rules and regulations. Together with the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry we have developed the sanitary safety rules and regulations designed to safeguard the well-being of our customers as well as employees.

Following the Council of Ministers Ordinance of 29 May 2020 which makes it possible to organise trade fair, congresses, seminars and conferences starting 6 June 2020, subject to mandatory observance of all precautions stipulated in the Chief Sanitary Inspector’s guidelines, we proceed to their full-scope expo preparation.

Thus, we have met the expectations of the multitude of stakeholders - both exhibition industry companies as well as exhibitors and visitors. We perceive expo organisation as an important stimulus foe the whole economy which has been locked down for several months, this is also the signal that the market situation in all its sectors shall improve. We are truly convinced that business meetings held within the scope of the Targi Kielce organised events will help overcome the unprecedented situation’s effects, the unfortunate results of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.
